Situated on the outskirts of Durham City, Best Western Whitworth Hall Hotel has lots to offer the discerning guest with 29 recently refurbished luxury bedrooms, conference and banqueting suites and wedding facilities for civil ceremonies and celebrations.  Our popular Library Restaurant offers an exciting menu with exceptional discreet service and lunch is served daily in our Garden Room overlooking the deer park.

There is so much happening in Durham in 2013.  Durham County Cricket Club is hosting the Ashes and also a 20:20 cricket match against Australia. The incredible Lumiere Festival will take place once more in November and the Lindisfarne Gospels will be visiting Durham City for a wonderful exhibition.
